This photograph encompasses two of my guilty pleasures, and this is the picture that I planned to get today. The first, candy (especially chocolate), is obvious. The second is that of being a nerd and seeking out the history of the places I visit. This building on Williamson Street was built in 1903 for the Madison Candy Company. There's a historical marker on the front, but other than the facade and the painted signs (there's another just like this on the opposite side), there isn't much remaining of the former tenant.
